Burn This Town

We have struggled with this record. We had the best intentions of releasing it and pitching it to managers/labels/producers etc. Frankly, we aren't satisfied. Instead of chucking it up onto Itunes and printing copies - we are partnered with the Cancer Council of Australia, and will be providing our audience the chance to nominate how much they would like to pay for a digital copy of the album - with 50% of that nominated price going to the charity.

The New album - working title : Concrete Glider

So we're about halfway into making the album, I'm hoping that this Thursday is on of the last major recording dates. I'm excited to get it all wrapped up into 12 track form, and OH MY GOD that's the biggest spider I've EVER seen. Wait a second while I plastic container its ass and throw it outside.


Eh-em. Back.

The album should be available per request from December (Physical copies that can be ordered or bought at shows) and on Itunes and other digital outlets soon after.

A summary of Events.

So last night we played at the Sandringham hotel in Newtown - to a fairly uninspiring amount of people - which brings me to this realisation - how on earth do we get people to come and see us live. We've gone crazy on the internet - and promoted our music as much as possible - tried creating a street team and all that junk - to the point of me losing my mind. We both have lives to live and money to make - so how can we justify wasting so much time on what seems like charity work?? Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden turned up AFTER we played - the place filled out AFTER we played. It was emotionally and physically draining.

Anyway - despite there being no light at the end of the tunnel, and embarrassments that have come and those yet to, we will continue our search for success for even our small group of true fans out there, and for ourselves...

If you would like to help our band - come to a show, buy an EP - or just simply tell your friends that we exist. Or if you have no money or friends, play our songs on myspace or last fm over and over again. At least score us some points.

I wish four hours was enough

If I could halve my sleeping time, and could confidently function from four hours sleep - there would be endless opportunities. I could get twice as many things done in a given day, I'd be living in two time different zones.

Anyway as most of you already know - given the invitation we sent out - we have a show coming up on the 9th of june. Many of you have said that 'if only' we were playing in melbourne or brisbane. We will have to do something about that!

We are going to be making street team soon, and rewarding members and awarding them certain status.

They will Consist of the following

1. Ninja
2. Knight
3. Capo
4. Thug

There can be one ninja - two knights - and any amount of the rest.

Positions will be earnt, and lost.
